What is the use of a prayer meeting? There are many uses. Believers are encouraged and strengthened; the cause of God is maintained; the truth of God is watered after it is sown; and prosperity is rained down through the opened windows of heaven, according to the Lord’s promise.

Visiting the site of a friend the other day, I noticed he posted a photo on “Phridays.” I liked the idea, so here is the first Friday Photo from me.
It is a snapshot of a beautiful, original oil painting of John Calvin hanging in a church library in Schenectady, NY. I think the colors and the content are stunning. (I wish there was some was to get prints of it, but alas….).
