Pastor Dave Bissett is happily married to Laurel, father of seven kids (four boys and three girls), and serves a church in beautiful upstate New York. He has a Master of Divinity degree and is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Ligonier Theological Academy. Along with other local pastors he has founded Gospel Advance of Upstate NY, which provides biblical training events and hosts a Simeon Trust Preaching Workshop each October. PDB is also Chairman of the Northeastern Region of the Evangelical Theological Society.  He even has a YouTube page.

The Bissetts are active homeschoolers and lead a classical educational cooperative, The Arbor, where David teaches logic, history and economics. PDB also loves books & reading, playing golf, studying economics and going camping.

He has been Pastor of Clifton Park Community Church since 1995. CPCC is a non-denominational church just north of the capital city of Albany, which adheres to historic, biblical Christianity as embodied in the Protestant Reformation. As a seminary student, PDB studied and served under John Piper in Minneapolis, and continues to value and promote his books. He is also active with the New England Reformed Fellowship (“NERF”) which hosts the Bolton Conference, and The Banner of Truth Ministers Conferences.
