I have been greatly grieved by the horrific collapse of the I-35W bridge in Minneapolis. I used to drive over it at least once a day while attending seminary in the northern suburbs. the river below was always worth a look as you passed by, but it was a long ways down. Just tonight I have found some sobering, serious words by John Piper about the reality of suffering in our world, and the spiritual lessons to be learned. Interestingly, his voice is placed over some video from this recent disaster. It is a powerful combination. May it reach you, my friend, with the truth God wants us to hear.
