Undoing Our Excessiveness

I was listening to a podcast sermon (a Scotsman preaching from Ecclessiastes) while walking in the heat the other day. He made a profound comment on the excessive amounts of money those in our culture spend on health clubs, work-out machines and the like. He noted that all of that spending would be unnecessary if we did not OVER indulge ourselves with food and leisure spending. How ironic! We over spend on mega-servings of food more often than not, and then find ourselves spending once again to undo our excesses! Would that people could discover this. Let him who has ears to hear, hear; and eyes to see, see.
