John & Donna Forringer

John M Forringer was an Elder Emeritus at CPCC, having served the Lord and the Lord’s people here faithfully for a couple decades. I have posted the obituary (written by his son, Jon Allen Forringer) HERE on the “CPCC Sundays” site (where we normally post the Sunday worship bulletins and announcement sheets.

I have also posted the funeral service program there, which lists the hymns and scriptures included in the service.

May we be deeply thankful for the life and ministry of this dear brother, and may our prayers and support be with Donna and the family.

24 Years of Marriage, a Blessing!

On this day, June 23rd, back in 1984, in Wisconsin, I married a beautiful young girl from Boston named Laurel Anne Ryan. And 24 years later, as I celebrate my wedding anniversary, I am a very happy and blessed man. We thank God for His blessings, and trust Him for many more years together.

Twenty-four years ago in my marraige vows to Laurel, I included my life verse from the Bible, from Psalm 73 — because my only hope to fulfill my vows and make this worthy woman happy, would be with the help of my Lord.

My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.
