How to raise a Pharisee?

Justin Taylor’s blog recently ran a post on this subject, raising a pharisee — which, of course none of us should want to do. As I focus on the behavior of my own kids (in the pristine environment of Grandmother’s house) I hope to keep a level, biblical head in my own parenting. You’re welcome to pray for me in this regard!

Day Four – pressing on

On Thursday morning I was still sick in the hotel room, but my four sons were super –letting dad try to sleep. At the time we did not know that Kathryn was sick over in the girls room, but we soon figured everythingout. The ‘cheap’ motel had a continental breakfast (toast), so we just hit the road — taking along a plastic ice bucket in case of vomiting. Continue reading →
